Annual Family Communion Breakfast

Second Annual Al Fenzel Family Communion Breakfast; Mass at the Assumption Church with breakfast following at Father Fata Hall.

Unlike the Sonny Dalton Men’s Communion Breakfast, this event is open to one and all; wives, daughters, mothers, sons, fathers, friends and family!

This year we have an unexpected treat (for me, especially!).  The priest celebrating Mass will be my baby brother, Father Thomas M. Provenzano, SDB.  Father Tom grew up in Eastchester/Tuckahoe/Bronxville, attended Anne Hutchinson, Greenvale and Cottle elementary schools before enrolling with Salesian High School in New Rochelle.  I believe that he holds the distinction of being the only priest ordained in the Immaculate Conception Church.  Because he is with the Salesian Order and is not a diocesan priest , he was allowed to request the church of his choice.

In addition to celebrating 9:00 AM Mass, Fr. Tom will be sharing some of his memories on growing up locally, focusing on when and how he got the call to devote his life totally to our Lord.  Father Connolly will be promoting this to our young parishioners, as well,  through his youth ministry.

This is a wonderful opportunity for the Knights, families and friends, to gather together to worship at Mass and then enjoy each other’s company at breakfast.
