Holy Doors of Mercy

All Westchester/Putnam Conference councils are invited to partake in a pilgrimage to the Holy Doors of Mercy on Saturday, October 22. This is a special opportunity for all Knights to participate in The Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy as proclaimed by Pope Francis.

Busses will be leaving from Our lady of Mount Carmel School 59, East Main St., Elmsford, NY at 9:30 a.m. to proceed to The Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral at the corner of Mott and Prince Streets.  A mass will be conducted upon arrival at The Basilica at approximately 10:30 a.m.  After the mass participants will visit the catacombs under the Cathedral followed by a walk down Mulberry Street through Little Italy to the Holy Doors at The Shrine Church  of the Most Pecious Blood at 113 Baxter Street where you will gain a Plenary Indulgence. 

The busses will pick everyone up afterwards at the corner of Mulberry and Canal Streets to return to Elmsford by 4:00 p.m.  The cost for the bus is $15.00 per person.  To make reservations please contact Gary Cronin, GK of Our Lady of Guadalupe Council #14556 at 914-841-5916 .  If your Council does not plan to take the bus from Elmsford but is still planning to attend this pilgrimage, please let Gary Cronin know as well.
