Council Officer Training

The Holy Cross Council#16838 will be hosting a Council Officer Training session for ALL Councils within the Westchester Putnam Conference.

LOCATION:  In the (basement) Parish Center of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church,  92 Lexington Avenue, White Plains, NY

START TIME:  Around 8:30 A.M.  and finishing off around 12:00 - 12:30 PM  There will be refreshments - coffee, tea, and some breakfast food.

The subject matter that will we will be covering will be the duties of all Council Officers and also the required Council Reports, such as 990-EZ IRS taxes.

We will also be covering "How to conduct a Business Meeting", with topics such as Robert's Rules of Order, Motions, and Resolutions.

There will also be a Q&A session, so if you have questions, please feel free to ask.

We encourage all Council Officers from each of our Westchester Putnam Councils to be represented at this Training session.  Grand Knights and all Officers down to and including the  Inside/Outside Guards.

This training is especially dedicated to ALL new Council Officers, as well as seasoned Officers.  There is always something new to learn in the exchange of information and ideas with other fellow Council Officers.  It is a forum that presents a great opportunity for you to learn from others and to interact with other fellow Officers at the same time.  For those Third Degree Brothers who are considering becoming a Council Officer, this is a great opportunity to learn what is involved in being a Council Officer and to make connections with your Brother Knights.
